The Perfect Match for Detroit Small Businesses
We are excited to announce that Surthrive has been selected as an approved Technical Assistance Service Provider for Detroit’s Motor City Match program.
This strategic partnership will allow historically disadvantaged small business owners based in the City of Detroit to receive complimentary marketing services from Surthrive that specifically help them reach new customers, boost productivity, and create scalable business models that allow them to stay in business regardless of any economic downturn.
Technical Assistance for Small Businesses in Detroit
In 2015, the Economic Development Corporation of the City of Detroit launched the Motor City Match program to create economic mobility for Detroiters through entrepreneurship by providing access to capital, commercial space, and tailored technical assistance that launches and grows small businesses located in Detroit’s commercial corridors.
Surthrive plans on providing complimentary technical assistance services to business owners participating in the Motor City Match program in the following ways:
- Business Planning & Development: Assist small businesses with defining company goals, designing scalable business models, and developing a feasible action plan to achieve their next company milestones.
- Marketing Strategy: Develop go-to-market and promotional marketing strategies that outline a plan for small businesses to explore new customer segments, uncover new revenue streams, and maximize marketing spend to drive growth.
- Website Optimization: Update websites for small businesses by creating persuasive brand messaging and implementing conversion tools that convert website visitors into paying customers.
- Email Marketing: Set up automated email campaigns that nurture leads, welcome new subscribers, follow up on purchases, or re-engage inactive customers.
- CRM Optimization: Set up and automate a small business’ Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software helping them engage existing customers and create more repeat sales.
