Brief

ChooseATL is dedicated to attracting and retaining millennial talent by showcasing Atlanta’s lifestyle and culture, evolving perceptions, and engaging the next generation in building a community we are proud to call home.

Challenge

ChooseATL’s goal was to create a unique experience that encourages young professionals to celebrate the diverse communities in metro Atlanta and decided to host multiple block parties on the same day at the same time in different neighborhoods.

Surthrive was responsible for coordinating the block party in the Buckhead neighborhood. Our mission was to amplify the cultural uniqueness of the neighborhood by supporting and curating local food, art, and music vendors that represented Atlanta.

Solution

Experiential:

Surthrive strategically curated the Block Party during Memorial Day Weekend to generate the most impact while partnering with WeWork – Tower Place to host the event in the heart of Buckhead on their outdoor patio.

To emphasis the creativity that comes from Atlanta we partnered with The Art of Metonia to bring 10 visual artists to display and showcase their artwork.

What’s a block party without food & drinks?! We crafted some of Atlanta’s favorite delights including King of Pops, Skips, Emerald Hare Wine, and Kea Beverages.

To support the popular sound coming from the city we invited some of Atlanta’s rising musical artists including, DJ Trap,  Nai.Brxx, Jaye Newton, and Nelià.

Digital:

Branding

Being that summer was right around the corner we decided to go with a design that fit the summer vibes for the flyer and overall look & feel of the Block Party.
