ChooseATL Block Party


ChooseATL is dedicated to attracting and retaining millennial talent by showcasing Atlanta’s lifestyle and culture, evolving perceptions, and engaging the next generation in building a community we are proud to call home.


ChooseATL’s objective was to:

  1. Use a creative and innovative platform that encourages young professionals to celebrate the diverse communities in metro Atlanta.
  2. Unite people behind the pride of Atlanta
  3. Create a thunderclap of Atlanta’s unique cultures and communities.


ATL Block Parties:

ChooseATL decided the best way to reach the community was to host multiple block parties on the same day at the same time in different neighborhoods. (We know… EPIC!).


Surthrive was responsible for coordinating the Downtown Atlanta block party in the Edgewood neighborhood. Our mission was to amplify the cultural uniqueness of the neighborhood by supporting a recognizable community event that resonated with residents.

On behalf of ChooseATL, Surthrive sponsored the 3rd Annual Fire in the Fourth Fest, a curated street experience that attracted over 5,000 local attendees to the historic Edgewood Ave. & Auburn Ave.


Created a series of unifying graphics that represented the Edgewood neighborhood and distributed them via social media using #ChooseEdgewood.


Surthrive delivered an interactive photo booth staffed with energetic brand ambassadors for attendees to capture and share the #ChooseATL moment.
